A note from Frankie Lovato...

Although music has purely been a hobby of mine, I still took it quite seriously. My father was a bit of a guitarist so there was always a guitar handy for me to pick up until I was old enough to get my own. My grand mother was a pianist and piano teacher and though she was never able to teach me to read music, she inspired me to play. I am self taught, my main instrument is guitar though I also play some piano. I have learned to play other instruments just well enough to get by. I played in some rock bands for years and also have done some solo acoustic venues with guitar and piano singing songs everyone can sing along and have some fun. My likes range from James Taylor to Van Halen, so that's pretty vast! Below is some of the music I have written and recorded. The Seabiscuit Song Video was a demo song that I had written for the movie Seabiscuit though it never got used. Special thanks to Carly Kaiser for making the video to go along with that! The other song video is a song that I have written that was inspired by therapeutic riding. That is when horses are used as a means of therapy for those with disabilities. The song "Stampede Of Dreams" is also the name of our own therapeutic riding program. Now having our own therapeutic riding program is amazing. We use the Equicizer and real horses. Special thanks to the hard work of my wife and so many special people in our town and community to make this possible. Visit Stampede Of Dreams on the web at www.Stampedeofdreams.org

Other Songs written and recorded by Frankie Lovato

There is a song and the only song I was ever able to record in a real sound studio, the rest I did at home on my own recording equipment. But the one below in the playlist called "The Kentucky Derby Song" is a song I wrote 22 years ago about what it would be like as a jockey to ride the Kentucky Derby. Besides recording in a professional studio, I also played all the instruments including pedal steel and drums. It was a blast and I hope that you enjoy it!
